Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:50AM First of all, we need to shout out from the truck tops "THANK YOU ATLANTA!" We knew you would embrace us, and you really did! Not to toot our own horn, but TOOT,TOOT,TOOT! Here are just a few of some of the amazing achievements from the past year. We were chosen by the Food Network, and Cooking Channel to be featured on an episode of EAT ST. ( Airing August 21st 2012 on the Cooking Channel in the U.S.) We were chosen by Atlanta Magazine as "one of the best new food trucks for 2011". Jezebel Magazine chose as " One to watch in 2012" The Atlanta Journal Constitution voted us as their #1 Critics choice of "Best of The Big A" for food truck or vendor in the city. Pretty amazing stuff to say the least. Thank you again Atlanta, for loving our food, and embracing arepas! We can't wait to see what year #2 brings! See ya on the streets, Atlanta!
Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:46PM Whew! I thought we would never get through summer! I know, I know, all of you in the regular world and not in the food truck world are wishing for those lazy dog days of summer back, but those of us in food truck world who have to experience the dog days of summer inside a metal box with hot ovens, griddles, and open flames are happy to have a change in the weather! We are thrilled to announce several new items on the menu like our slow roasted beef sofrito served on a bed of savory garlic creamed mashed sweet potatoes, sauteed shrimp cakes served with organic local stone ground cheese grits, and all different types of soups.
On a totally different note: The WOW! Truck hopes to have some especially exciting news to announce in the next couple of weeks. I don't mean run of the mill exciting either, I'm talking 5 star exciting... but you will just have to wait a little bit longer before we can officially announce our exciting little nugget of news.
Thank you everyone who has come out to the truck and given us a chance! The entire WOW! staff salutes all you arepa eaters out there!
Just remember, eating at the WOW! truck makes you smarter, prettier and run faster. It's true ;)
Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:33AM The WOW! truck has had a great summer in the very hot ATL! All of us in the kitchen on the truck are REALLY looking forward to some cooler weather in the fall. We are working on some new and exciting menu items to go with the change in the weather, so stay tuned for that! Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone!
